Love Child on Tour!

A stationary maroon and cream double-decker bus on grass under leafless trees and a clear sky. The scene suggests abandonment and stillness.

We’ve been in such a season of head-down, keep-going lately. You know the kind- where you’re working a ton, chasing your dreams in the in-between, trying to stretch time and money and energy in a way that somehow makes it all work. That’s where we’re at.

Love Child and Le Cheile have grown into something really special over the past two (almost!!!) years. It’s been slow and steady, organic and wildly chaotic at times, but always led by love, always built with our own two (four) hands- pouring everything we’ve had into every single detail.

And now something new is asking to be born.

Out of nowhere and somehow exactly at the right time, a vintage bus popped up for sale. It sounds small written out like that-but for us, it felt like the biggest nudge from the universe. It’s the exact kind of vehicle we’ve been dreaming of for “Love Child on Tour” a mobile version of everything we love to create: comfort, magic, community, inclusivity, funky fare, music, and warmth, wherever we land. The space we’ve wanted to take to music and local festivals, markets, and anywhere people gather.

We didn’t plan for this. We don’t have the money sitting in a savings account waiting. But we have the vision. The faith. The will to try. And this time, we’re asking for help.

We’ve launched a fundraiser to help us buy the bus and begin the build-out. We’re keeping it simple, transparent, and rooted in community-just like the work we’ve always done. This bus will serve as a testament to our mission to be a community-forward 3rd space.

If you feel moved to contribute, or even just to share the link, we’d be so deeply grateful. It’s hard to ask, but we believe in the power of people coming together to make something beautiful.

Here’s the link to donate:

We’ll keep you updated along the way. No matter what happens, we’re proud of how far we’ve come and hopeful for what’s next. Thanks for being here.

With love,

Ava + Kaylin
